Page 17: WordPress has no built-in translation capabilities

Your blog is undoubtedly written in your native language, but your blog is published on the Internet for anyone to access globally in any country. There are already “translation engines” available for free at Google, Altavista, and other search engines, but users have manually enter your URL to attempt the translation (and wait long periods of time for the translation to process). If you installed a translation plugin, your blog could be available in up to 32 different languages. Imagine having 32 different versions of your web page available for indexing in global search engines? If you’re interested in expanding your based of readers and increasing traffic, I recommend you read my post: WordPress Hack #9: Translating Your Blog.
