The website owner can then send out SMS text messages to all subscribers at once. If the sidebar widget isn’t used, you can still add people add subscribers from the plugin settings in dashboard admin. This feature is available for businesses who collect cell phone numbers via traditional methods, such as contests, paper forms, sign-up forms, etc.
New feature allows you check a setting on the plugin settings page to email the list of subscribers automatically each time a new post is published, which is great for membership or performance artist web sites!
New Updated 1.5 version now supports US Cell!

This is the main options page, where you can update the text of the widget footter and header, as well as the from address of the outgoing text messages, and the maximum number of characters.
At the bottom just above the save button you’ll see a checkbox for “Send all subscribers SMS text message each time a new post is published”. This is the option you need to set if you’re going to auto-send text messages out (set it and forget it).
This is what the widget looks like when you drag it to a sidebar on the widget options page in your WordPress dashboard (there are no options for this widget).
This is what the widget looks like on the front end of your site in a sidebar. To signup for SMS text message updates, all a visitor needs to do is enter their phone number, and then wireless carrier from the dropdown menu.
You can manually add subscribers to your SMS updates list on using the “Add Subscribers” plugin settings page. It’s the same as the front end widget. You could in fact not use the sidebar widget at all, and only manually add subscribers via the plugin settings page. But, if your website has any visitors it’s probably best to use the sidebar widget as well to easily and automatically add new subscribers.
