Funny, you sound just like me! I don’t do the list thing but I do set long and short term goals.

The big goals are the ones I want to achieve by years end, the small goals are the daily/weekly tasks I need to complete to get to my end goal.

Setting goals is very important. Thus, you have an objective to follow and fullfill. What works for me is to have a plan for the day.I also like jumping from project to project. I think that’s really nice! and you don’t get bored!

I echo what others said – excellent post. I don’t know that I can think in terms of ‘what did I do to make money…’ unless that was my blogging goal. Having blogged for a number of years, my primary goal is, I simply like to write. I hope that someone will read what I have to say.

Nice post, thanks for the inspiration. I have the hardest time to get things done in an orderly manner too. The thing is, when you’re not obviously wasting time like on Facebook or Youtube, you as an internet marketer can easily fool yourself that you’re “working” when you are actually just wasting time.

I fight with that all the time, I never get all my lists completed – but as long as I’m working from them, I can keep track of how much I didn’t get done.

I love this post because it descibes me to a “T”.

If I go online without a plan or goal I find myself wasting all my time reading email and looking at the next get rich scheme out their.

When I follow my list of goals for the day i do much better. The best thisg is at the end of my short work period I feel like i got something done and that is a good feeling.

JT how do you keep track of all your lists?
That is one task I have not been able to master.

I too like to jump from project to project.. but I am getting better.. I am trying to focus on one thing at a time and complete it..even if it is not perfect.. I find that most people try to be perfect( perfection causes boredom , so you gravitate to the next new shiny object) and that is one of the reasons they have so many projects that are left halfway.. if you continue this way the cycle starts all over again..the way I see it..
