<description>Great list for the pros and cons. I think each one of them will have an amount of revenue they can generate. A niche store that could target its market will succeed as well as a blog. Work out which one suits your market.</description>

<description>I have truly stopped building BANS ONLY sites... While Build a Niche Store does still have the ability to do very well, I have transitioned to ALL WordPress front end sites, with BANS in a folder.

<description>This is quite a detailed list of the pros and cons for each of these possible creations. Niche stores sure do need a lot of original content in order to be relevant, or the consumer will head somewhere that provides them with more value for their time.

		<description>John -

Very good and VERY timely post! I spoke to several BANS owners in the last couple days and it looks like the big G has has an Axe Party over the last weekend, and cut a high number of BANS sites out of the index. Again, just another step toward completely eliminating thin sites.

Without PPC, I dont feel a small site even has a chance on the web anymore. IMO, blogs are the ONLY way to go right now... granted, they may just change again in short order, but for now, its the best method of building.

The link I put in my comment address is a new site I just launched 1 week ago, actually, only 5-6 days ago. Over time, it WILL be monetized with an eBay aff program of some sort, I just dont want to jump and put it on now. I will wait until I build up a base... maybe 60-90 days of time investment first!

I am now taking the route of building fewer sites, that are of much higher quality. Instead of 250 sites making $1 per day each... I want 10 sites, making $100/day each.

Its all about the authority now!

Good post.

Mark
