the star is a wildcard. It means, everything beyond /store/product

Sorry if I am being dumb, but to clarify I add the “*” [star]
/store/product/
/store/product/*

If so I wonder could you explain what the “*” [star] is telling the robot to do that its omission did not..

will the above prevent google fron indexing “all” the store product pages?

Thanks for the follow up. I tried a BANS/WP template today after I took of my junk sites in BANS and moved it to a subfolder as an experiment. Seams to work fine although the WP theme needs some tweaking. I am new to WP and still figuring out posts/pages/categories and the best way to set up the storefront. I am used to the traditional tiered website theme. I see that you also link to some WP/BANS templates so maybe I will check those out as well. Moving the BANS store to a subfolder will be much easier in the end than migration the some of my sites totally over to WP. Chriss last blog post..test sub cat 1

The platform needs no support, even though the support forum is alive and well. BANS just works, and it’s viable still today. Although hybrid sites are better, and Wordpress blogs are great because you can mesh just about anything within them form an affiliate perspective.

Thanks for that post. I have several BANS stores and because the platform seems to be getting abondoned of support I want to move some of the stores I built up to a more perpanent solution.

I use popshops and know they have a WP plugin so I might do that. I found the WP Lifestyle theme from studiopress to look pretty good, so I might go with that. However the stragety you show here to build product categories with with datafeedr is compelling…I have to think about this more.
