i have been working online for quite some time. i decided to lunch my own website focusing on news in Nigeria, my website is pretty new and it mainly focusing on News in Nigeria www.sedocaonline.com. I have read quite a lot of materials on ranking well on the search engines and none seemed to point me in the right direction, however after reading your blog i belive i have finally found a start material i can begin to work with on promoting my website to rank well on the search engine.

Another thing that does bog me is how about website that have been in business long before you do the search engines give preference to such website which may be your direct competitors..

Thanks for sharing.

What I am trying to do is to target long tail keywords and slowly work my way up.

Search Engine Optimization is a slow process, you just can't speed things up.

Make Money Easy Onlines last blog post..Start Making Money If You Know These

pay better attention to the keyword you use in the first 3 sentences of every post. Here are your keywords from a sample post on your site:

You see that you've setup all in one SEO to use the first sentences from your blog post as your meta description. This is the description the search engine uses as the text in the search rankings below the linked title. You need to use the main keyword phrases in the first 3 sentences of your posts. I usually synopsize what the post is about in those sentences. The "keywords" meta were generated from tags and those carry little if any weight with search engines. You can see from the description above that the only keywords you got in were "green day" and you completely missed the name of the album and "review".

Keywords are just for linking, they're for titles, descriptions, URL's, filenames, alt text for pictures, etc.

Thank you. Very interesting read.

I've currently started up my own website and am working as an online copywriter. As an online copywriter I'm working with many blogs, creating lots of links between them and constantly linking to the main site. We are 3rd for our two main keywords in google, but trying to push off the other two is proving quite difficult.

We only started the blogging SEO around a month or two ago though, I add around 12 blogs per day (over 20 different blogs). Do you think this will pay off in the end?

Also, I've recently started bolding links and a few keywords. Does this help?

On another note, if you could possibly take a look at my new website and give me any hints? The Music Mag

JT, do you have other seo tips? I think blog commenting doesn't work too good. You can have better links in other way. But what way should it be...

You have to use a service like Wordtracker that collects data specifically for India. Contact Wordtracker to see if they do this, I know that they collect data for UK, and some other European countries - maybe data is available for India now.
