Greg’s High Performance SEO hasn’t been updated more than 5 times since it was created. All in One SEO is updated several times per month and has more downloads than any other plugin worldwide – I’ll stick with that.

Thank you so much for this useful list! I’ll definitely be taking advantage of the scheduled posts plugins (will probably try both to see which I prefer!), and the broken links plugin. Being relatively new to WordPress I’m still starting to discover the best plugins to use, so these will be added to my list.

While my site is only about 1 month old and yet to be updated for its new design, I have 8 plugins installed.

I am very detailed oriented in my day – to – day dealings so no problem with the desire to just randomly install things and left them alone. My motto – use it or lose it!

For an SEO plug, I have been experimenting with Greg’s High Performance SEO as it has a ton of options and is quite advanced. Just haven’t gotten it all configured as I want yet.

WordPress is such a helpful tool. I use it in all of the blogs. It gave me the power to change, write, put in some media. WordPress is just the right thing to use.

It has always been a big headache understanding plug-ins…when ever I read any post regarding it…all my previous knowledge about it gets jumbled up….Hope this time the same story is not repeated again.

Very nice list, JT, thanks for this. Im a big fan of the Crosslinker, Breadcrumb NavXT, and Subscribe To Comments, but will also check out the Broken Link Checker since you recommended it.

Thank you for the list. Broken link checker is a must have. There are two others, maybe three or so, that i would add to this list:

1. All in one seo pack – to help with title and description tags
2. Seo smart links – automatically add links to various pages of your site base on keywords
3. Twitme to auto post to tweeter
4. Seo Slug – to shorten url to only relevant keywords. It removes all prepositions in url
