@Dan Hicks – yes it would get traffic from just your blog. The object of an affiliate store isn’t to get “indexed” – it’s to make money.

You can make unlimited amounts of money with an affiliate store, all depending on how much traffic you get and the authority of your blog. The datafeed subscription price is nominal, and you can cancel at any time (and keep your existing store…the links just go bad over time).

I had one more question as an afterthought. Is it best to have a different URL for the store pages that the blog links to or is it allright to be a page on the mainsite as long as the rules about indexing and nofollow are followed?

I summize that you are saying develop a good content driven WordPress blog that is worthy of visiting. Get it indexed and ranking. Then you can add an affiliate store that is set up not to be indexed. Will only get traffic from your blog then?

I know you have created sites like this from your posts. Have you gotten a decent result with affiliate sales from those blog driven sites with no organic traffic. I know it wouldn’t be a great deal with no organic trafiic but is it worth the datafeedr subscription price?

You must do all of the thing you do with a store on the sidewalk. The tools may be different but the result the same – get noticed, be credible.

Hi. Can you talk a little bit about the solution of masking urls redirecting them with php headers?? I have seen many webmasters doing it with eBay Partner Network links?

Does it work in order to keep indexed in Google and avoid to be penalized??

I just started a few months with EPN links displayed in HTML with PHP through their RSS Feeds. At the beginning Google indexed all the content of this links. After one month and a half, links are still indexed but Google isn’t showing them anymore. Now I’m a little afraid of they close my AdSense account.

Thanks for any info or help. I’d like to know what can I do in order to keep Google happy.

Maybe the best way to do this is create a website based soley on information only to start. How do you tell where you rank anyway? How to find out how many visitors your site gets? Should I load SEO Quake?
