@Juan H - generally I either put an image (non-linked) at the beginning of the post or no image at all - and then after or within the review I place eBay auctions and / or Amazon items. I usually promote eBay as the used option and Amazon as the new option. Read this page about how I use the BayRSS Wordpress eBay Affiliate plugin to add auctions to Wordpress posts. View my Smorgasbord web site to see examples of how I do this to consistently generate income (new post today!).

thanks i will take a look at the Amazon Machine Tags plugin. When you do a post around an amazon do you generally add an image with the affiliate link then write a general review and then add a text link at the bottom of the post that goes to amazon too? thanks for any help

@Juan H – There are hundreds of ways to do this. Amazon associates provides you with 2 easy ones, an image or text link. There are free Wordpress plugins to make your life easier as well. Any time I search for plugins, I check out the latest compatibility list to see what’s available and up to date. To do that just google something like “wordpress 2.6 compatibility” and the first result is usually the list like this one.

You’ll see there’s 2 listed, Amazon Machine Tags (which I use), and AVH Amazon – which really isn’t for posts like you want.

I cam across your post and I am trying to figure out the best way to add amazon products into my wordpress blog and not too sure what to do. anyone have any insight on what to do, should i add text links and write a review or what seems to work.
