Ning is flaky like that sometimes. I wouldn't worry about it - nobody really ended up using Content Exchange anyway. =(

I tried to sign up at Content Exchange, but couldn't get past the signup page. Some sort of glitch with that Ning ID thing. I usually don't have any trouble navigating through website signup kind of stuff.

REPs last blog post..<a href="http://ereadercentral.com/2008/08/15/amazon-kindle-lauded-at-qualcomms-digital-smart-services-leadership-summit/" rel="nofollow">Amazon Kindle Lauded at Qualcomm’s Digital Smart Services Leadership Summit</a>

I saw your message on Entrecard and decided to check out your blog. The AdSense blocks really detract from your actual content. Most of the folks who are serious about setting up a blog in this space will generally not put AdSense on. Think about it, your target audience is someone who probably knows and uses AdSense and chances of them clicking on the ads are very low.

I'm guessing that you would do better with other forms of monetization on this type of blog.

Hey, JT, thanks for the invite via Entrecard, and I'm pleased to see that your more proactive approach has attracted a response -- even if it isn't always positive, any response is welcome (isn't it?).

Let me fully consider the implications of networking like this, and get back to you on it. Like another of your commentators, I too have a helluva lot going on - as you'll see if you check my latest post http://rewardrebel.com/blog/internet-marketing-and-my-sister/ a very exciting new project with my sister is beckoning as well;-D

= I can respect that!

If you get the chance I want you to really re-think this offer. Participation is of course completely voluntary - but the idea here is to exchange content with another blogger. You give them a post and they write one for you.

If you are establishing a brand - this is a chance to get your word out to audiences that currently don't even know about you. Don't think of it as giving something away - think of it as reaching out and expanding your market, building your community, and reaching new people for more visitors and rss subscribers.

You also have to remember that people always trust someone more when they are referred by someone they know. In other words, let's say you posted for me (or another blogger). I am "introducing" you to my readers for the first time. They are much more likely to visit your site after you post on mine, because I "introduced" you to them. Much more likely than from an ad or a search listing. This goes beyond Entrecard and "dropping a card" or advertising, this is a much more personal (and long lasting) introduction.

I think you need to rethink this! =|8

This less about what you are posting on your and MORE about what you have expertise in. Just because you only post seminars on your site, doesn't mean that's all you can write about. You could easily write an article about how or why you started a blog, or frustrations you've had with it - success or experience you've gained.

How do you do research online, how did you get your pagerank, what kind of social media do you use, where do you comment and participate, what do you think about Entrecard so far - you get it!

Also - on your site you can stray from posting only about seminars, people LIKE to hear you blog in your normal voice and talk about your daily life too. That makes it more engaging, more interesting, more honest - it makes ME want ot subscribe!
